Our Rural Thinking House is a decentralized model for working, learning, and collective thinking, set within a lived-in rural environment rather than a formal workspace.
Located just outside the city, it operates as an open, domestic hub where brainstorming, workshops, and informal collaboration unfold naturally across shared spaces—a large kitchen, comfortable living areas, and a surrounding park.
Unlike co-working culture—which often replicates the logic of the office in a more aesthetic form—this model, which combines Urban Flânerie in Milan with Rural Setting in Bologna, values mobility, serendipity, and sensory engagement as essential components of thinking and working.
At its core, it is a practice of working while wandering: remaining mentally productive while physically and socially connected to the real world and to the nature.
